Nelly Furtado recently recorded and mixed material at Metalworks for her upcoming release “Folklore”. Scheduled for release November 25, 2003, “Folklore” was co-produced with Toronto-based producers Track And Field (Gerald Eaton and Brian West) and mixed by Brad Haehnel who were at the helm on her acclaimed 2000 debut, "Whoa, Nelly!”.
The first single “Powerless (Say What You Want)" recently went to radio.

Special guests on “Folklore” include banjo player Bela Fleck, jazz outfit the Kronos Quartet, Brazilian folk legend Caetano Veloso and Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger.
