EMI Music Canada recording artist Susan Aglukark was recently in Studio Two mixing songs for her upcoming release scheduled to be in stores this spring. The album is being produced by Ben Mink and mixed by GML founder George Massenburg.

Not one to travel light... George flew in his own console from his studio in Tennessee. It took ten strong guys to move our SSL console to make room for George's Sony Oxford board.

This is Susan's fifth release. Her unique blend of traditional Inuk folklore with contemporary pop sounds has captivated listeners from all walks of life. Through her music, Susan Aglukark spreads uplifting messages to her own community and the nation at large. She was praised extensively in publications such as The New York Times, Saturday Night, Macleans, Modern Woman and Chatelaine, who touted her on its cover as a "pop star with a purpose." As an ambassador of Canadian culture, Susan has performed twice for HRH Queen Elizabeth, for Prime Ministers Mulroney and Chretien, for Nelson Mandela and at the World Special Olympics.
