Canada's rock veterans RUSH from L-R: bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee, drummer Neil Peart, guitarist Alex Lifeson.

Canadian rock veterans Rush wrapped up two straight months of mixing at Metalworks this past winter on their 17th studio album, "Vapor Trails."
Mixing duties were delegated to David Leonard, who had previously worked at Metalworks on Geddy Lee's solo project "My Favorite Headache." The producer's chair was filled by long-time friend Paul Northfield.
"Vapor Trails" is Rush's first album of new material since 1996's "Test For Echo." It was a busy hiatus for the group, as Geddy ventured into his first solo outing and guitarist Alex Lifeson produced the debut disc from U.S. group Lifer (mixed here at Metalworks). The break also introduced various live and greatest hits packages, re-establishing Rush as one of the most diverse and influential groups of the last 3 decades.
