Canadian alternative/R&B duo McMaster & James have been working in Studios One, Two and Six on their upcoming sophomore disc for BMG MusicCanada. Producing the project is frequent Metalworks visitor Justin Gray, who has recently worked with Sugar Jones, Snow, Wide Mouth Mason and Econoline Crush.

The album is a departure from their previous effort, incorporating more two-step, R&B and rock elements.

Their self-titled debut spawned the three top ten hits "Thank You", "I Understand" and "Love Wins Every Time."

The songs that are currently being worked on include: "Flower", "My Bad" and "Scream."

The album is slated for an early-2002 release.
